Return/Exchange Policy

If your purchase isn't completely satisfactory, we're happy to review your return or
exchange request within 7 days of receiving your item.

Requirements for a Return/Exchange:

  • Requests must be made within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Item must be in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all labels and security ribbons attached.
  • Items with traces of perfume, makeup, deodorant, or any damage will not be
    accepted.
  • Returns are accepted only for standard-size pieces. 
  • Custom or made-to-measure designs are non-refundable and nonexchangeable.
  • Item must be in the original packaging.
  • Once approved, the return shipment must be sent within 5 working days of receiving the return label.


Shipping Details:

  • Once your return is approved, our team will provide you with a return label and
    detailed shipping instructions.
  • You must use our tracked return label for your return to be processed.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item received was
    faulty or incorrect.

Exchange Options:

  • Exchanges are available for size or style adjustments, provided the requested item
    is in stock.
  • Standard exchanges are processed only after the original item is received at our
    atelier/warehouse.
  • If the desired item is unavailable, you may choose store credit (no expiration date).

Store Credit Validity:

  • Atelier of Lumière store credit has no expiration date (unless stated otherwise in
    special campaigns or seasonal policies).

Atelier of Lumière reserves the right to decline any return or exchange that does not meet
the above conditions.

At Atelier of Lumière, we aim to offer a transparent, fair, and smooth return experience.
Each creation is handcrafted with intention, care, and precision. Because many of our
gowns and abayas are made in limited quantities or tailored to order, we kindly ask our
clients to choose thoughtfully before completing a purchase.

Returning an Unwanted Item

We understand that at times a piece may not meet your expectations.
To request a return, please ensure the following conditions are met:

Return Eligibility

  • Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Items must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed, and without any traces of
    perfume, makeup, deodorant, or damage.
  • All original tags and security ribbons must remain attached.
  • Items with a removed or damaged ribbon will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging.
  • Once your return request is approved, the item must be shipped back within 5
    business days.
  • Returns are accepted only for standard-size ready pieces.
    Custom-made, altered, or personalized orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Refunds & Store Credits

  • Once your return is received at our atelier and passes quality inspection:

    Refunds to the original payment method are processed within 5–10 business days.
  • Depending on the order type, you may receive:
  • a refund to the original payment method, or
  • store credit (for eligible orders).
  • Items purchased during sale or promotional periods are eligible only for store
    credit, with no expiration date.
  • Store credit can be applied toward any future purchase at Atelier of Lumière.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Exchanges apply only for size or style adjustments, and only if the requested item
    is in stock.
  • Your exchange will be processed once the returned item is received and approved.
  • If the requested item is unavailable, store credit will be issued instead.
  • For urgent or time-sensitive requests, please contact our team at
    info@atelieroflumiere.com before sending back your item.

Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect:

  • Contact our customer care team immediately.
  • We will assist you in arranging a replacement, exchange, or refund after verifying the issue.

Maintaining Original Condition

To maintain hygiene and quality standards for all clients:

  • Items showing any signs of wear, perfume, makeup, deodorant, or alteration will
    not be accepted.
  • We kindly ask that you try on garments briefly and handle them with care.
  • All items undergo a thorough quality check before a refund or exchange is issued.

Responsibility

  • Returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until they reach our atelier.
  • Please ensure your parcel is securely packaged and shipped with tracking.
  • Atelier of Lumière is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged during return
    transit.
  • Include your order number inside the package to avoid processing delays.

Fair Practice

To ensure fairness and protect our brand and clients:

  • Atelier of Lumière reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet policy
    criteria.
  • Accounts showing signs of misuse or repeated irregular return behavior may be
    reviewed.
